Terms of Service

By creating an account or using RésuméBoost ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RésuméBoost is an AI-powered résumé tailoring service that generates customised résumé, cover letter, and CV documents based on a job posting you provide. Documents are generated using third-party AI models and are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
• You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• You must not use the Service to generate content that violates any applicable law or the rights of others.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual billing cycle; fees are charged in advance at the start of each billing period.

7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. To do so, cancel your subscription from the Account settings page, then contact us at info@resumeboost.app with your account email and reason for the refund. Refunds are processed manually and typically issued within 3–5 business days. The guarantee applies to your first subscription purchase only and does not apply to renewals, plan upgrades, or subsequent subscriptions.

After the 7-day window, we do not issue refunds for partially used subscription periods.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until that date. No access is lost immediately upon cancellation.

Annual subscriptions. If you are on an annual plan and cancel, your subscription remains active and you retain full access through the end of the 12-month period you have already paid for. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the 7-day money-back window. No prorated refund is issued for any unused months remaining in the annual term.

You retain ownership of the source resume content you upload. The generated output documents are provided to you for personal use. RésuméBoost retains ownership of the Service, its software, and its AI prompts and templates.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular employer or role. Use generated documents as a starting point and review them before submitting to employers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RésuméBoost and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the email address on file.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
